Google Trends is an search tool of google based on google search, that allows the user to see how often specific keywords, subjects and phrases have been queried of the total search volume across various regions of the world, and in various languages over a specific period of time. Google Trends also allows the user to compare the volume of searches between two or more terms. An additional feature of Google Trends is in its ability to show news related to the search-term overlaid on the chart, showing how new events affect search popularity

while working with Google Trends you have the option to set variables or parameters
- Web Search – Image search – News Search – Product Search – YouTube Search
- Worldwide – Option to choose a specific Country
- 2004-Present – Past 7 Days – 30 Days – 90 Days – 12 Months- Choose a Year
- All Categories – Arts & Entertainment – Autos & Vehicles – Beauty & fitness – Books & literature – Business & industrial – Computers & electronics – Finance – Food & drink – Games
First Select the Category and Country.. Type your topic for example – Topic is Digital Marketing Training Institute Pune hit compare, Here you do have option to select City, Date Range and Category. This will return you Interest over time, Interest by city, Related Topic and Queries..
Now the twist is google trends allows you can add a another topic to compare with the original topic and can compare 2 or more topics at a time by interest, city and queries..
Since Google Trends doesn’t give actual search numbers, it works best when used in combination with the Keyword Planner.
